Oh La La, Chalala...First the very friendly welcome from the staff. It immediatly felt like meeting, long time no see family, although this was our first time visit. The bungalow complex is designed with great eye for detail and felt liked we've arrived in a fairy-tale. A small paradise in comparison to other places we walked by and pass through during our walkabouts on the island. The rooms are designed with an amazing feel for comfort with a tropical touch. A pure hidden gem just five minutes walk from the ever noisy and crowded Chaweng Road. So a good quiet night-time rest is absolutly guaranteed. An incredible spoil for the visitor! A small paradise!

The hotel has a convenient location, a mere fifteen-minute walk from the buzz of central Chaweng, with beach access just steps away. The pool area is well-kept was good, particularly during happy hour.
The rooms show signs of wear and tear, with issues like noisy air conditioning that even leaks water, and it's worth noting that many guests have reported mold on bedding. Certain room types can be quite loud due to their proximity to the road, which could disrupt a good night's sleep.

The lady at reception was awsome. She was so helpful!!there is a pool which was great and they give you cutlery from the restaurant to use in your room if you want to make own food. Theres also a 7-11 and family mart right across the road, and its close enough to walk to everything, but far enough to get a quite nights sleep.
The beach is quite small, but can walk to the resort next door to tan and chill.

Spacious, comfortable and clean. They sweep the beach in front of the resort daily. The manageress was very accommodating and helpful.
The bed was a small bit hard for me.

Nice and clean bungalows.
At arrival the receptionist said there is no bungalow with one large bed, only two separate beds, although in the booking we have explicitly mentioned that. The receptionist suggested we go find another hotel. After understanding that we will not leave the place until the booked bungalow is supplied, they did gave us a bungalow we ordered. I have to mention that the hotel was half empty ! Other than that there were no complains.

This place was just what we needed.
The small family run hotel was pleasant. The staff was very very helpful all the time. We ate at a nice restaurant with attentive staff. We had an EXCEPTIONAL view of the sunrise and a very clean bed. The location was lovely and stunning, relatively near Stars Cabaret. Took a walk around city centre, located just a short stroll away from the venue. Truly enjoyed our stay here and recommend.

A hidden gem on the beach
The sunsets from our spacious villa were amazing. With the warm breeze and the beautiful garden surrounding us, it seemed like a dream. The staff treated us like family, our every need was met.
Although some facilities were slightly worn, they didn't detract from our enjoyment. We encountered minor issues with the bathroom cleanliness, which could use more attention.

Chalala is a great little place at the north end of Chaweng beach. The beach is literally at your doorstep and the main strip of Chaweng is close enough to walk and far enough way to ensure you get some peace. It is great value and Jazz will help you organize trips, taxis and give you fair advice about things to do on Samui; not that you have to go far anyway. The decor is quite quirky and that's what we loved about it. The restaurant has very good staff who are very accommodating.
